APSA Region Scholarships
Airborne Public Safety Association (APSA) sponsors twelve (12) APSA Region scholarships for $2,500 per recipient. Two (2) per Region (Canadian, Central, Midwest, Northeast, Southeast and Western).
These scholarships are available to high school seniors.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
- Applicant must be the child of an APSA member in good standing who has been a member at least one year at the time the scholarship application is made.
- Applicant must be a high school senior who has been accepted to an accredited college or university.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
- Name of applicant.
- Name, relationship and department/agency of qualifying APSA member.
- Applicant’s home address, telephone number and email address.
- Applicant’s major field of study.
- Name of applicant’s high school and college/university/trade school.
- Applicant’s current grade point average (state averaging system employed). Use weighted GPA, if applicable.
- SAT and/or ACT score.
- Photocopy of the most recent high school transcript (1 file allowed; 1.5mb).
- List and description of extracurricular activities (1 file allowed; 1.5mb).
- Letter(s) of recommendation (Up to 3 files allowed; 1.5mb each).
- Acknowledgement of acceptance from college/university or trade school (1 file allowed; 1.5mb).
- Original essay of no more than 200 words describing why the applicant desires and should be considered for the scholarship (1 file allowed; 1.5mb).
- Digital photograph of applicant in JPEG format (1 file allowed; 5mb).
- Any other information the applicant believes the committee should consider (1 file allowed; 5mb).
- Application submissions open February 2 – May 1, 2026.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- APSA Scholarship applicants are considered for ALL scholarships for which they may be eligible (please do not submit more than one application), with a ranking system utilized to determine the recipient of each. All scholarships are awarded in U.S. dollars. Previous scholarship recipients are not eligible to receive the same scholarship award. Incomplete submissions may result in disqualification.
