Criteria
The President’s Citation may be presented to anyone who has rendered a service beyond the normal course of duty, because of his timely observation, diligence task that has resulted in the protection of life or property; the prevention of major crime; the apprehension of a dangerous criminal or performed an act that clearly exceeds what is normally required or expected.
The President shall have the prerogative at any time to order issuance of the “President’s Citation” without consultation with the Awards Committee.
The “President’s Citation” shall be limited to six (6) plaques and twenty (20) certificates during each calendar year, unless otherwise approved by the Board of Directors.
