We have received reports that there are companies posing as the official travel vendors for APSCON 2018.  They are NOT affiliated with APSCON 2018 in any capacity.  APSA only guarantees hotel room rates and availability during the show dates for reservations made directly through the The Galt House Hotel, Hilton Garden Inn Louisville Airport, Courtyard Downtown Louisville and Days Inn Louisville Airport.

For your own protection, we ask that you exercise caution when making your hotel and travel arrangements. Unofficial vendors, or “poachers” as they are commonly referred to, cannot provide the same benefits and protection APSA offers.

Hotel reservations made outside of the official APSA hotel block can be risky: tradeshows are often targeted by unscrupulous  companies who are seeking to take advantage of conference participants.  These non-affiliated companies may require that rooms must be fully prepaid; mandate that charges are non-refundable and/or be subject to steep change fees; and room types may not be guaranteed.

In the past, APSA conference participants who have used these unaffiliated companies have encountered situations where vendors were either unlicensed or went out of business after taking reservations and deposits.  Individuals were left stranded without hotel rooms or transportation, and resulting in lost deposits.

To avoid situations like this and guarantee your room is booked through the APSA website (www.publicsafetyaviation.org) or directly with our host hotel or overflow hotel.

Hotel Parking

• The Galt House Hotel visitors and guests have access to the parking garage for $10/car/day (in/our privileges).

Airport Shuttle

• Xtreme Transportation features easy and convenient airport shuttle which departs from outside the Hotel Lobby.  They can provide airport shuttle service for a charge to the Louisville International Airport every day of the week, including holidays. Outgoing shuttle departs from the hotel every half-hour, 4 am to 1 pm daily. After 1 pm, the shuttle departs every hour until 11 pm.  Shuttle from the Louisville Internation Airport: Shuttles run every day, including holidays, from the airport to the Galt House Hotel. Shuttle departs every quarter hour from 7:17 am to 12:45 pm daily.
