2020 Safety Stand-To : Online Learning (May 2020)

APSA's launches our first Online Safety Stand-To!

OBJECTIVE:
Canadian Flag 2Due to COVID-19, the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) Safety Stand-To that was scheduled for May 13, 2020 as an in-person event has been switched to a live webinar. Originally scheduled as an 8-hour live event, the live webinar will take place from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM (EDT) to accommodate members and non-members from across Canada. Due to the shorter duration of the webinar, the agenda will cover only 2-topics, “Safety On Your Terms” by APSA Safety Program Manager, Bryan Smith; and “Operating Public Safety Public Safety (RPAS) Safely and Effectively in Canada” by Andy Olesen, Darren Keuhl and Colin Giles. The webinar will conclude with a review of current safety topics by Bryan Smith. This webinar is open to both APSA members and non-members and is limited to 100 people.
